WynPUF® is our brand for polyurethane foam additives. Viscoelastic foams are characterized by a delayed recovery after compression and very low elasticity (ball rebound). The selection of foam stabilizers can be a tricky task for viscoelastic foam as the processing windows is usually relatively narrow. The adjustment for viscoelastic polyurethane foam, also referred to as memory foam or low resilience foam, is used mainly in home and office furnishings, although a considerable amount of work has been conducted for automotive applications. During a compression cycle, viscoelastic foams exhibit slow recovery and thus, high hysteresis. Viscoelastic foam also typically has low wall rebound values. They are produced from MDI, TDI and other mixtures of these isocyanates. XH-2902 is equivalent to B-8002 in international markets.
